Oils
Analysis is the technique that
consists on the study of the properties of the lubricants and the
pollutants suspended in this with the purpose to supervise and to
report appropriately, with significant and exact information, on
the lubricant one and the condition of the machinery. With this
technique in a practical way and in place we can know if a lubricant
oil is capable to continue lubricating a machinery or if a change
or another maintenance action becomes necessary. They usually take
samples of the oil that is in the machine and it is compared with
a standard pattern or with samples of the same maker's new oil.
The analyzing device of oils carries out the comparison, determining
the properties of the analyzed oil consequently.
Through an effective analysis of oil, the
following benefits can be obtained:
To establish
appropriate intervals for the changes of oil and filters.
To detect grade of contamination
of the oils.
To identify abnormal patterns
of waste.
To determine chemical
degradation of the oil and preservatives.
