The predictive maintenance is based on the fact that most of the elements that compose a machine will give some warning before they fail. To be able to perceive these warnings, non destructive test are used as: Infrared Thermography, Vibration Analysis, Oil Analysis and others.

The use of these techniques will allow to know the condition of the machine giving a more efficient and more effective maintenance as a result, in comparison with the corrective and preventive maintenances.

Among the advantages of using the predictive maintenance, we can mention:

1. Increase in the utilities of the company product of an increase in the availability of their machineries.
2. Reduction of costs product of the decrease in spare parts and manpower.
3. Verification of repairs carried out previously.
4. Reduction of the probabilities of a catastrophic failure increasing the security for the personnel of the plant.
